From earth to grape, from grape to glass

Visite De la terre au raisin, du raisin au vin au Château Grangey

Discover Château Grangey, a family-run estate since 1953.

In the heart of our vineyard, this visit is an invitation to understand our craft, our daily work, and the deep connection we maintain with the land.
We’ll take the time to share the history of the estate, explain our approach, and show how each gesture — from soil to cellar — plays a role in shaping our wines.

In the winery, you’ll discover the various vessels we use for ageing: amphorae, large oak vats, stainless steel tanks, and barrels…
Each is a deliberate choice, adapted to the nature of the wine, always with respect for what the vintage has to offer.

The visit concludes with a guided tasting of three cuvées, each reflecting a different ageing method. It’s a simple and sincere way to illustrate how each technique influences the wine — and to taste what we strive to express, without artifice.

A moment to discover, ask questions, and take your time.

Château Grangey is located in the village of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, within the Saint-Émilion appellation area. Nestled on a hillside, the estate overlooks the Barbanne stream, which marks both the northern boundary of the commune and the edge of the Saint-Émilion jurisdiction, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
